Data Backup Policy
Important Note
Research data stored on cluster storage systems (VAST and NetApp) and local server disks is not backed up.
Researchers and students are solely responsible for the integrity, preservation, and periodic backup of their critical research data to personal or external storage media.

Gipdeep cluster is served by NetApp Storage Release 9.7P14 with SAS 12Gb 8Tb and 10Tb

Storage Monitoring
For storage monitoring use the Storage Monitor (SMonitor). This is an internal tool for monitoring storage usage and user quotas across VAST Data, NetApp, and Unity systems. More about Storage Monitor here.

The system is available only from within the Technion network (or via VPN). Access to SMonitor is restricted to registered cluster users and administrators.
